Barbera   Heavily planted and popular in Italy, Barbera sports a rich ruby colour. The long finish and balanced tannins make it a good choice on its own but also suitable for blending with other Italian-style reds.

Cabernet Sauvignon  The world’s most famous red wine grape variety, Cabernet Sauvignon is native to the Bordeaux region of southwestern France. With a flavour profile of cassis, cedar, peppercorn and mint, it produces sophisticated wines in a variety of styles from medium to full-bodied with an ability to age.

Merlot   Another noble Bordeaux native well known in the Pomerol region, Merlot is the main component grape in Chateau Petrus, the world’s most expensive red wine. Merlot wines are always classically elegant with their ripe plum, red berry and spice profile. Approachable in youth, its wines will also age gracefully.

Pinot Noir  The king of red Burgundian grapes is responsible for some of the world’s most sought after wines. Its medium-full bodied mouthfeel, red fruit and earthy flavours are sure to please.

Shiraz   A favourite of many winemakers for its concentrated red berry fruit and spice character. This is a grape that, although originally from France and known there as Syrah, helped put Australia on the world wine stage. Superb with Prime Rib or Beef Tenderloin.

Blush Chardonnay  Produced from a rare and prized pink-berried mutation of its white brethren, our distinctive Blush Chardonnay is everything our white Chardonnay is with the added attraction of its delicate pink hue.

Montepulciano The star red grape of the Abruzzo region of central Italy, Montepulciano is known best for its full bouquet of ripe red berries, red plum, and spice. Producing medium to full-bodied wine, it is always a favourite amongst lovers of traditional and contemporary Italian cuisine.

Festa  Red  Our popular in-house blend combines quality red vinifera varieties in varying proportions to produce wine of character and finesse. Our enologists take the guesswork out of blending so you can take the time to enjoy!

Carignan  Also known as Cariñena in Northern Spain, this classic grape in home winemaking is valued for its ability to produce mouth filling dry red wines. Perfect with barbecued meats, including spicy sausages.

Grenache  One of the world’s most widely planted varieties is native to Spain and produces pleasant, refreshing medium to full-bodied red wherever it is grown. Popular in southern France as the grape of the famous Tavel rose, Grenache remains a favourite of home winemakers everywhere.

Zinfandel   Known as California’s native red grape, Zinfandel was recently discovered as being native to Italy. Regardless of where it’s grown, its wine is always brimming with spicy flavours of ripe dark cherries, cassis and blackberry. Some of the world’s finest New World reds are produced from this classic grape variety.

Ruby Cabernet A California crossing of Carignan and Cabernet Sauvignon, this popular vinifera varietal is a favourite with those who enjoy medium-bodied reds with a clean fruit character in an easy drinking youthful style. Aromas of red cherry, fresh raspberry and strawberry predominate on the nose.

Tempranillo  Spain’s noble grape. Ruby-red, low in acidity; aromas and flavours can include berries, plum, tobacco, vanilla, leather and herb.

Chardonnay The world’s most famous white grape is native to Burgundy in France but is grown almost anywhere wine is made. Its rich flavours of apple, pear, tropical fruit and butter provide it with depth, superb balance and an elegant bouquet. These characteristics have made it a favourite of commercial and home winemakers alike!

Chenin Blanc  Chenin Blanc is respected for its ability to produce wines with a captivating profile of green apple, honey, melon and straw with crisp cleansing acidity. A great choice for those who savour.

Moscato  Intended to be consumed young, Moscato needs to be served well chilled and is downright delicious with apple desserts, fresh berries, summer salads, meringue pies, peach cobbler, hazelnut desserts and lemon-poppy breads and cakes.

Pinot Grigio  A greyish blue to pink-berried mutation of Pinot Noir, Pinot Grigio is recognized for its ability to produce soft, yet refreshing medium to full-bodied wine with fine aromatic notes of pear, honey and melon. An excellent choice for those who enjoy whites in an easy drinking, approachable style.

Riesling   Recognized as the grape of Germany – particularly in the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer region – Riesling is considered by many to be the world’s finest white wine grape. Now grown in many parts of the winemaking world, Riesling is known for its upfront floral, peach, honey and petrol nose. A crisp and clean tasting wine, it is a perennial favourite.

Sauvignon Blanc   Sauvignon Blanc has its origins in the Bordeaux region of southwestern France. Valued as a grape capable of producing intensely flavoured white wine with elegant aromas of grapefruit, gooseberry and herbs, Sauvignon Blanc deserves its status as one of the world’s finest white grape varieties.
